As per a report in The Sentinel, the HIV-positive youth, a resident of Satdola in Hajo met the 15-year-old girl from Sualkuchi district via Facebook three years ago and they fell in love with each other. With time, their love grew stronger and the couple became inseparable. They wanted to spend life with each other. The minor girl also fled away with the boy couple of times earlier but was brought back home by her parents. However this time to prove her love for the boy, the girl took an extreme step that left everyone in shock.

The minor girl extracted blood from her HIV-positive boyfriend with the help of a syringe and administered it into her body risking her life. The incident has left everyone in shock in the region, reported The Sentinel.

Meanwhile, the Hajo police have arrested the youth while the girl has been admitted to a hospital and is under medical observation now.
