Justen Lipeles filed a lawsuit in a California court, claiming that he should have been warned about the content of the 65-year-old star’s show before attending the concert. He alleges that neither he nor other concertgoers knew what to expect ahead of the show on 7 March 2024 at the Kia Forum, according to TMZ.

Madonna has been accused of treating her fans with ‘flippant disrespect’ during her Celebration Tour in a new lawsuit.

One Madonna fan didn’t take too kindly to many of the choices she made during her Celebration Tour.

Plaintiff Justin Lipeles recently filed a class action lawsuit against the pop star on behalf of himself and the concert goers who were present at her May 7 show in Inglewood, California.

More specifically, he is accusing Madonna and Live Nation of breach of written contract, negligent misrepresentation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false advertising, negligence/negligent infliction of emotional distress, and unfair competition, according to The Blast.

His main complaints are that the concert started over ninety minutes late, and that Madonna was allegedly lip-synching during the performance.

He also claims that the Material Girl singer demanded to shut off the air conditioning, and later told fans to take their clothes off when they complained that the heat was making them physically ill.

Lipeles was also extremely offended by the lewd sexual acts performed onstage, and says that there should have been a disclaimer to fans beforehand.

He believes that Madonna “purposely and deceptively withheld informing ticket purchasers” about the sexual nature of her Celebration Tour, as he says attendees were “forced to watch topless women on stage simulating sex acts.”

“Forcing consumers to wait hours in hot, uncomfortable arenas and subjecting them to pornography without warning is demonstrative of Madonna’s flippant disrespect for her fans,” Lipeles says in the lawsuit.

For the lawsuit, Lipeles is asking for a refund for the tickets, and for Madonna to give up profits she made from the tour due to “unfair business acts and practices.” He also requested a jury trial.

Lipeles isn’t the only Madonna fan who has felt so disrespected by her performances that they felt the need to take legal action.

In January, concertgoers Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden also filed a lawsuit against The Queen of Pop after her Brooklyn concert started over three hours late.

The lawsuit alleges “false advertising, negligent misrepresentation and unfair and deceptive trade practices.”

According to the lawsuit, the timing of the concert put ticketholders at risk due to “limited public transportation, limited ride-sharing, and/or increased public and private transportation costs at that late hour.”

“In addition, many ticketholders who attended concerts on a weeknight had to get up early to go to work and/or take care of their family responsibilities the next day,” it read.

Madonna’s Sex Book

Madonna’s Sex book, published in 1992, features erotic nude photography by Steven Meisel of the singer Madonna, romping sexily with Vanilla Ice, Big Daddy Kane, Naomi Campbell, Isabella Rossellini, Udo Kier and Ingrid Casares.

It sold well and is considered a post-feminist work of art, but is now out of print. Rumor has it that Madonna is buying up copies herself to take the book off the market.
