Serinda Swan was born on July 11, 1984, in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Her father, Scott Swan, is a Canadian theatre director and actor.
She appeared twice in the television series “Smallville” (in the episodes “Hex” and “Warrior”) as Zatanna Zatara. She had the role of Goddess Veritas in an episode of the sixth season of the “Supernatural” television series. Her first big screen role came in 2009 with the romantic comedy “The Break-Up Artist”.
She played Erica Reed in the “Breakout Kings” series for two seasons, from 2011 to 2012.
Later she played the goddess Aphrodite in the film “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” and Darcy in the movie “Recoil.” Then, she played Paige Arkin, a DEA agent, in the series “Graceland,” released in 2013.
The actress is also known as Medusa in the series “Inhumans,” premiered in September of the same year on ABC.
