Kentucky high school investigating ‘man pageant’ event with lap dances, Hooters outfits

WASHINGTON — An investigation into a Kentucky high school homecoming event is reportedly underway over possible sexual misconduct from students and teachers.
Pictures surfaced online of young male students dancing in “lingerie,” students being paddled and even one showing one of the boys dressed in lingerie dancing on the school principal’s lap – who is also coincidentally the town’s mayor, according to WKYT Kentucky.
The strange clothing choices were reportedly part of a costume contest that appeared to take place in the school’s gymnasium.

Apparently this is the “Man Pageant” for Hazard’s Homecoming. Stripping and lap dances was a very poor choice for the ages of those involved.

Several female students can be seen in the video from WKYT dressed as Hooters girls and held mugs appearing to be full of beer. Other students were paddled, and male students wearing lingerie can be seen dancing on top of school administrators.
WKYT said parents they heard from were most bothered by the young males dressed in lingerie who were seen dancing on and near school officials.
“I’m at Hazard High School following a school homecoming event that’s drawing mixed reaction from parents,” tweeted WKYT reporter Shelby Lofton. “Now deleted pictures posted on the school’s athletics FB page are generating a lot of conversation. The Supt. told me the event is under investigation.”
