Jennifer Lopez gets Hollywood Walk of Fame star

Take a stroll down Hollywood’s Walk of Fame and you’ll come across a mixed bag of legendary names.

From Michael Jackson to Frank Sinatra, Shakira to Kermit the Frog, the famous walkway has literally cemented showbiz royalty in history.

And now there’s a new name in town as Jennifer Lopez was honoured with the 2500th star on the LA strip on Thursday.

“Me and my STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Proud little girl from the Bronx. #surreal #blessed,” J-Lo tweeted, alongside a picture of herself posing with the achievement.

Supported by her parents David and Guadalupe, twins Emme and Max and boyfriend Casper Smart, it sure was a family affair for Jen who looked like she was graduating from college as she wept with joy in her finest frock.

Emotional and elated, she celebrated with her former Monster-in-Law co-star Jane Fonda – who presented the award to the latino star – and threw herself among photographers for a celebratory snap.
