Hong Kong is truly a piece scandalous shit now.
First we heard Carrie Lam & Co are running for their life?
Hong Kong Legislature Evacuated Amid Protests Against Law Banning Masks
And then we learned,
As Hong Kong ATMs Run Out Of Cash, Central Bank Steps In To Prevent “Panic Among The Public”
What, Bank Run is taking place in Hong Kong right now?
Local banks have been remarkably resilient in the face of the continued mass protests and the ever rising threat of violent Chinese retaliation which could destroy Hong Kong’s status as the financial capital of the Pacific Rim in a heart beat, and crush the local banking system.
In short: despite the perfect conditions for a bank run, the locals continued to behave as if they had not a care in the world. Only that is now changing, because one day after a JPMorgan banker was beaten in broad daylight by the protest mob,
SCMP: A JPMorgan Banker Beaten In Hong Kong As Protests Rage, he was surrounded by reporters and protesters shouting “Go back to the mainland!” To which the banker, speaking in Mandarin, responded “We are all Chinese!” A protester then punched him n the face, knocking his eyeglasses off.

Moral of the story: Don’t speak like a hero if you’re a stooge of the banking cabal.
In any case, social upheaval has finally spilled over into the financial world: according to a HK publication, the local central bank, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, was forced to issue a statement warning against a “malicious attempt to cause panic among the public” after rumors were spread online about the possibility of the government using emergency powers to impose foreign-exchange controls.
Hong Kong’s Shitty Banking Situation – More than 10% of 3,300 ATMs damaged and could not function, but that banks were negotiating with logistics firms to refill cash machines as 5% of them had run out of money, adding that banknote delivery was affected by the closure of shopping malls and MTR stations.
Will this be enough to prevent a bank run on the remaining ATMs? The answer will largely depend on what happens in the next 24-48 hours in Hong Kong, although the signs are grim.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong is on the verge of complete socio-economic paralysis as dozens of shopping centres, retail outlets, grocery stores and banks did not open for business for fear of more protest violence and vandalism.
While Carrie Lam is babbling nonsense like cops “had no choice but to shoot in self-defense”, wounding a teenager… The violence incident provided solid grounds for imposing the anti-mask law, “The government will curb violence with utmost determination,” she said. “Let’s condemn violence together and resolutely disassociate with rioters.”
Alas, if she had hoped the her address would ease tensions, no one will dare to protest without a mask, she was wrong: even as Lam’s video message was being broadcast on television and shared on the internet, hundreds of Hongkongers, many of them masked, started to march from Causeway Bay to Central to protest against the ban.
Many In Hong Kong Feel Frustrated, Hong Kong is losing to Mainland China.
Its poverty rates are high, it suffers from corruption and savage capitalism. It is now the most expensive city on earth. People are frustrated, but paradoxically, they are blaming socialist Beijing for their problems, instead of the legacy of British colonialism. ‘Across the line’, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Xiang and other cities are leaving Hong Kong behind in almost all fields.
The CIA indoctrinated young hooligans know very little about their city. Being raised on the shallow values of selfishness and egotism, they are now betrayed their own country, and began treasonous campaigns, urging foreign powers, including US and UK, to “liberate them”. All for just fleeting moment of fame, for a “selfie uprising”.
This is what they call “Police Brutality”.

Where do you think the young punks got the phrase “Police Brutality” from? The phrase is peculiar to Americans, not British.
Anyway, To liberate Hong Kong from whom? China does not, (unfortunately for Hong Kong), interfere in Hong Kong’s economic and social affairs. If anything, it builds new infrastructure, like an enormous bridge now connecting Hong Kong with Macau (a former Portuguese colony) and a high-speed train system, linking Hong Kong with several cities in Mainland China.
For decades, the British colonialists were humiliating people of Hong Kong, while simultaneously turning their city into a brutal, and by the Asian standards, ruthless and fully business oriented megalopolis. Now people are confused and frustrated. Many are asking, who they really are?
For Hong Kong, this is a difficult moment of soul-searching.
Even those who want to “go back to UK”, can hardly speak English. When asked “why do they riot”, they mumble something about ‘democracy’ and ‘freedom’ in the West, plus ‘evilness of Beijing’. Brochures of some obscure, extremist Japanese religious cults get distributed. It is one big intellectual chaos. Rioters know nothing about Syria, Afghanistan, Venezuela, countries which are being ruined by the West.
Highly educated and overly-polite Singapore is literally sucking out hundreds of foreign companies from Hong Kong. Its people speak both English and Mandarin. In Hong Kong, great majority speaks only Cantonese. Many foreigners are also relocating to Shanghai. Not only big businesses: Shanghai is now full of European waiters…. Oops.
Absurdly: the rioters want precisely what the Communist Party of China is providing: they want real struggle against corruption, as well as determined attempt to solve housing crises, create new jobs, and provide more public services. They want better education, and generally better life. They want “Shanghai or Beijing”, but they say that they want to be a colony of the UK, or a dependency of the USA.
Beijing could ‘liberate’ Hong Kong, easily; to give it purpose, pride and future.
But young hooligans want to be liberated by Washington, instead. They want to be re-colonized by London. And they do not consult their fellow citizens. That clearly reflects their idea about ‘democracy’. Not the “rule of the people”, but the “rule of the West”.
Perhaps it’s time to install Jackie Chan as Chief Executive (as proposed one of his fans): “And that they should then just arrest all of the leaders, expel the US State Department, shut down the CIA-backed publications, and tell these brats to go home and play video games like normal people”
But Jackie Chan is an illiterate (that he’s Panda clown like Orange Orangutan Donald Trump).
No Problem.
Not to mention overwhelming support from his fans, ScandalShack is also happy to read him all the scandalous shits as fairytales, and to translate all his nonsense into highly intellectual postulation similar to the String Theory and beyond!
Fun Facts:
Jackie Chan’s stage name in Chinese is “成龍”, literally means “Become Dragon”. He was so named with the hope that he will become the next Bruce Lee, whose stage name in Chinese is “李小龍”, translated – “Lee the Little Dragon”.
After failing to find a star to inherit the Dragon Throne left behind by Kungfu legend Bruce Lee, HongKongWood finally found a so-so heir in Jackie Chan. Nothing remotely resembling the legendary Bruce Lee, but Jackie does sell nonetheless.
Yes, Hong Kong need a Dragon, not pussy.
