The ‘sex-mad’ gymnast lover of Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly has a net worth bigger than that of Irish actress Saoirse Ronan.

Alina Kabaeva (38) is rumoured to be Putin’s long-term secret mistress and is said to be currently hidden in Switzerland with the pair’s reported twin daughters.

The former Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast, who was once described by a photographer as being “full of sex”, reportedly has a net worth of €9 ($11.82) million.

She’s understood to be valued at €9 million due to her work as a gymnast, politician and media manager.

This valuation puts her above famous Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, who has a reported net worth of €8.1 ($10.64) million.

Among the other famous Irish people that Kabaeva’s net worth is reportedly valued above are Gary Lightbody (€6.3m), Michael Conlan (€3.6m) and Hozier (€4.5m).

Kabaeva was once described as being “full of sex” by a photographer after she posed nude for Russian publication Maxim.

The snapper of the shoot told The Sun: “I didn’t even need to persuade her. She behaved very naturally. She’s full of sex.”

The former gymnast won medals at two Olympic games during her career, which ended with retirement in 2007 and also included a doping ban in 2001, The Star reports.

Aged 16, she won rhythmic gymnastics bronze in the all-around competition at the 2000 Olympic games in Sydney before winning gold four years later in the same event in Athens.

Her glittering career also featured nine world championship gold medals and a further 15 from the European championships.

She later added that: “I hope that someday the gossipers will calm down.”

Putin has also shut down the rumours in the past, responding to one report by saying: “Those who with their snotty noses and erotic fantasies prowl into others’ lives.”

It is believed that the couple have twin daughters together, who are currently living in hiding with Kabaeva in Switzerland, where they have reportedly been since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Following her retirement, rumours of a relationship with Putin have repeatedly swirled, with Kabaeva saying in 2014 that “everyone should have their own little secrets.”
