A Man In Tennessee Cut Off His Own Penis And Threw It Out The Window During A Police Chase Because Voices On The Radio Told Him To ‘Save The World’

Police are used to having things thrown at them, but last week, police in Tennessee faced something they never expected.
During a pursuit of a vehicle, a 39-year-old driver allegedly cut off his own penis, and threw it out the window in order to “save the world.”
Yeah.
The bizarre incident began when police noticed a Honda Accord parked partially in traffic on Highway 70. When officers singled for him to pull over he took off.
At one point during the chase, he pulled off onto a side road, stopped and opened his door. One officer told a local news station that he was “naked and covered in blood.”
When police approached, he closed his door and kept driving.
Eventually, the vehicle was slowed down with spike strips and police were able to block him in. The chase went through several counties and involved several police departments.
Tyson Gilbert, of Cookeville, Tennessee claims that voices on the radio told him to sever his penis in order to save the world.
Gilbert was taken to a local hospital for treatment, no updates have been given on his condition.
