39-year old actress Alicia Witt (Nude Debut) in House of Lies [S4E5]

Good things come to those who wait and none more goodilicous than Alicia Witt‘s nude debut. The Irish red resisted for more than 20-years before finally letting out those glorious puppies…well, one half of it. The former nudity dodger avoided a topless scene in The Sopranos. Black X tape over her nips in Four Rooms. The much touted stripper role and lap dance in Joint Body proved to be a dud. Love scenes in other movies mostly confined to implied kind.
I’m a big fan of the cute genius so I couldn’t resist sending her a question requesting clarification on her first nude scene on-screen (some errors made in regards to the wrong movie and nips patch):

Q: Alicia, you continue to be a bundle of surprise after all these years. Just saw House of Lies. Here I thought you’ll never do nude or topless scene & boom, yours truly was looking at something he never thought he’d see in his lifetime (still waiting on Flat Chested). After nips patch on The Sopranos & your aversion to outright nudity ever since, you might forgive me for thinking you have non-nudity clause on hand every time you go for an audition. What prompted the change of stance? Did (typed ‘Is’ instead) BFF Shanola frequent nuderama on Shameless played a part? On more serious note, does (again keyed in ‘is’ – I’m such an idiot) it have (has) something to do with ageism & actresses in youth obsessed Hollywood where you need to adapt (including waiving the no nudity clause) as offers & meaningful roles dwindled for performers your age? Do you feel a twinge of regret on the roles you missed out in last 2 decades because of your stance against nudity? For comparison, Shailene Woodley openly embraces on screen nudity in age of Internet exploitation.
The chances are remote she will post the question on her fan page but if she did, I can imagine the type of response the smart cookie have for me:
[1] Jeez, get a life. It’s a brief non-sexual nudity without the context you trying to frame it in.
[2] Really? You have way too much time on your hands, dude.
[3] More comfortable with my body than I was in my 20’s.
I’m certain of one thing and that’s is no ‘liberating’ nonsense from her.

Q: There’s a couple sites out there that have video captures of you nude from the sex scene in “Sopranos.” That’s got to drive you crazy.
A: I was just offered a movie where they said, specifically, that I was going to have to be topless, in a scene more explicit than the one in “The Sopranos.” I had to pass on it. It was a great movie, too. Oh well.
