Thigh-high splits were apparently the ‘done thing’ at the Mat Gala 2014 last night.
And with celebs flocking to the fashion bash from across the globe to prove they could afford the $25,000 ticket, there was bound to be some accidental pant-flashing on the red carpet.

Falling over themselves to grab the Best Dressed titles, the leading ladies of Hollywood went as high as they could with their thigh splits, showing off their oiled legs and killer heels as they shimmied inside.
Leading the way in the wardrobe malfunction department was Kim Kardashian, who managed to suffer a knicker flash before she’d even left the pavement outside her hotel.
Sporting a midnight blue Lanvin frock with conveniently-coloured matching pants, the 33-year-old bride-to-be, was papped showing off far too much flesh as she clambered into her car.

Next up was Rita Ora, who managed to pull the split on her dress wide open as she posed for the paps in her nude and gold Donna Karen Atelier gown.Attempting to pull the bottom of her frock away from her heels (without the help of her wardrobe team), Rita flashed her flesh-coloured undergarments for the world to see.
She spent the rest of her time on the red carpet trying desperately to keep her crotch out of sight.
Zoe Kravitz went for the unheard of, spoting bright pink knickers under her frock, which then blew open to reveal them as she stood to the side.
Ditching the usual rule of nude or matching underwear, Zoe’s pink knickers weren’t exactly difficult to spot under her blood-red Topshop frock.

But it wasn’t just the dresses that were malfunctioning.Poor Emma Stone appeared to have been attacked by bronzer, with the orange on her cheeks matching the excess amount of shimmer on her brow bone (although her dress looked phenomenal).
