Rihanna ordered to remove nude photos from Instagram
Singer Rihanna’s topless pictures have been banned from Instagram.com for breaching nudity rules.
Rihanna ordered to remove nude photos from Instagram, so she posts them to Twitter instead
OK, here are the scandalous shots you all came her for:
That is the image now seen when searching for Rihanna’s account on instagram
The scandalous singer recently posted half-nude photos of herself on her Instagram account, taken from a photo shoot she did for French magazine Lui. Instagram responded by temporarily taking down Rihanna’s account and ordering her to remove the photos. It’s hard to say why Instagram reacted to these particular photos, as Rihanna is half nude in a good proportion of her Instagram photos to begin with. Maybe it was the French angle?
Anyway, Rihanna removed the offending photos and replaced them with a parody photoillustration making fun of Instagram with a retro shot of the singer and the caption “RIH’s next magazine cover if it was up to Instagram.”
But Rihanna won’t be denied in showing off her body — in fact, some large part of her fame may be attributed to her exhibitionism. So she re-posted the photos online — this time on Twitter. (See pics at the bottom of this post if you’re curious. But, you know, nudity warning, NSFW and all that.) Twitter, it seems, has no problem letting the photos remain on the site. This may explain the difference in social media numbers between the two sites for Rihanna — she has a mere 12 million followers on Instagram while she has nearly three times that number on Twitter, at 35 million. Rihanna even added Instagram insult to exhibitionism by making the nude shots her profile pics on Twitter.
Drake’s obsession with Rihanna makes a little more sense now, doesn’t it?
