Meet Veronica Vain, A Hot Redhead Who Just Left Her Job On Wall Street To Become A Porn Star
Paige A. Jennings, who moonlights as āVeronica Vainā, quit her internship with Lazard Asset Management this month to pursue a career in the adult film industry.
Last Friday, I decided to eavesdrop on a conversation between two people who work on our sales team. I did this because the moment I heard one of them say, āThis girl calls herself Veronica Vain and she just left her job on Wall Street to become a porn starā the conversation suddenly became MY FUCKING BUSINESS. I was then directed to the Twitter profile of Veronica Vain, a spicy redhead who pulls no punches as to who she is and the various activities she thoroughly enjoys when describing herself in her bio:
āI just left a job on Wall Street for a porn career because I canāt stop masturbating at work and would rather get cum all over my face. Is that cool with you?ā
God, yes. God. Fucking. Yesā¦thatās totally cool with me.
An Interview withĀ Veronica Vain, The Wall Street Porn Star
BroBible: When did you know you wanted to leave Wall Street and pursue a career in porn? Was it something you thought about when you were in college? Or was this a recent revelation?
Veronica Vain:Ā Intellectually speaking, I love financial analysis and thinking. However, I found that I was not cut out for the politicking required to be successful, and sitting at a desk for eight or more hours a day really sucks the life out of you. More poignantly, it seems that being openly sexually confident and respectable are mutually exclusive in the corporate world for a woman, and that seriously irritates me. So I started exploring other options that werenāt so stringent structurally. To quote Steve Jobs: āYouāve got to find what you love.ā I thought long and hard about this, and as silly as it may seem, I could not think of anything that I love doing more than having sex, reading and learning about sex, talking about sex with other peopleā¦and I knew that I would probably be most successful if I could surround myself with sex and be accepted for it. Society is really so against sexuality in the public sphere, despite how well it sells. I dislike stigmatizing something that is such a source of happiness and fulfillment and such a natural part of life.
Q: How did your company find out about your account?
A: few people close to me knew what I was up to, but I firmly disbelieve they said anything, so I honestly have no idea how they came across it. So many people found out so fast, it is taking me for quite the spin. I probably need to get a new phone number at this point. Good thing I have balls of steel.
Q: What was the conversationĀ with your boss like? He had to shit his pants when thought the person he knew was living a double life as Veronica Vain.Ā
A: It was a little awkward, but not bad. I had already put in my two weeksā notice and was sticking around to tie up some loose ends. My bossās boss called me over the phone with an HR lady. I had a pretty good reputation intellectually, and this executive was aware of that. However, he obviously couldnāt have me coming back to the office when likely just about everyone had seen me half naked online. I definitely didnāt expect that to happen though considering nothing online was tagged to my real name, so it was jarring in the sense that this whole decision suddenly became very, very real. I feel like Iām living some kind of dream, honestly. This is the kind of stuff no one ever thinks would happen to them.
Q: What draws you to the porn industry as opposed to less high profile sex-related careers?
A: Well, for one, if you met me you would know that Iām kind of a high profile person. I am sheer balls-to-the-wall fearless.
As far as other sex-related careers, I have been a stripper in the past and I simply do not see it as a viable career path, and the same goes for other sex-related professions in my view. With porn, it is possible for me to really leave my mark on the industry. Perhaps one day Iāll start an adult industry-centered venture capital fund. Iāve talked to numerous investors in the past who would love a piece of that business. Most people watch porn and buy sex products no matter the economic climate. Itās a great market.
Q: Which starsā careers do you admire most?
A: Iām infatuated with Kayden Kross. She is brilliant, witty, and gorgeous, and if I ever meet her I will probably stammer a lot.
Q: Who do you see yourself performing scenes with?
A: Well, considering I am going to the final casting call in Las Vegas for The Sex Factor, a reality porn competition that will air globally, I will be performing scenes on that show should I make the cut. They are still accepting applications, by the way, for anyone reading this who wants their shot in porn.
I have a Brazzers subscription (buy your porn!), so right now I would really like to work with Johnny Sins, James Deen, Keiran Lee, and Jordan Ash. They are such professionals and awesome to watch.
Q: Does Veronica Vain have any favorite positions that our readers should know about? And is there a specific genre or fetish youāre interested in exploring on camera?
A: Iām a redhead, so I believe I am my own fetish category, ha. I love having sex in any position, so the position is less relevant although I orgasm best in missionary and girl on top. Iām interested in doing most types of mainstream porn, though it would be fun to try a light bondage scene with Japanese silk ropes. Iāve never been tied up like that. Also, I would love to do an all-female orgy scene. It is so difficult to get a ton of hot chicks who want to lick each other in the same room, so thatās a fantasy Iām very interested in experiencing.
Q: When can we expect to see your work?
A: Iām currently in talks with several studios and agents and weighing my options, but Iām really hoping to make my debut on The Sex Factor.
