Tina Fey acknowledges and pokes fun at her Emmy Awards wardrobe malfunction in a new promo for Saturday Night Live, which returns for its 39th season this weekend.
Comedienne Tina Fey has laughed off her split-second wardrobe malfunction at the Emmy Awards by poking fun at herself in the teaser for her return to Saturday Night Live.
The comic was widely reported to have inadvertedly flashed a bit of nipple at the ceremony on Sunday night, when she turned around and seemed to reveal more than she intended.
In one of several new ads for Saturday’s show, Kenan Thompson says: “There will be no more wardrobe malfunctions like at the Emmys.”

Turning to Fey, he asks: “Unless you want to do one?”
She replies: “No, it’s not gonna happen. It’s under control!”
She then raises her arms and reveals that, beneath her jacket, she is not wearing anything at all. As her blurred-out breasts, shock Kenan, she continues: “Not gonna happen again! I’m pretty sure!”
Noticing her situation, she hastily adds: “Forgot my shirt.”
After Fey hosts this weekend’s premiere, Miley Cyrus will be taking to the stage the following week to co-host and perform. Her stint will co-incide with the release of her new record Bangerz, which hits shelves in the US on October 8 and the UK on October 7.
In the clip that also featureās SNLāsĀ Kenan Thompson, there is no one safe. From the nipple slip to Miley Cyrus to even a littleĀ Breaking Bad, the episode promises to deliver some high quality entertainment.
Donāt worry, Breaking Bad fans, your favorite show wonāt be interfered with.
āWe promiseĀ SNLĀ will be over in time for you to watch theĀ Breaking BadĀ finale,ā Fey joked. To which Thompson replied, āLike 18 hours beforehand.ā
It is always great to see Fey return to Saturday Night Live, so letās hope she can help us re-live some of her legendary performances and enjoy the new ones.
