The Kardashian clan have plenty of skeletons in their closet, including sex tapes, questions of paternity, steamy marriages and messy divorces. We are about to reveal the very juiciest scandals to have rocked the family, over the last few years. You won’t believe your eyes.
1. Kim Kardashian’s steamy sex tape
Perhaps the most obvious scandal to have rocked the Kardashian family is Kim’s sex tape that she made with her former boyfriend hip-hop singer Ray J, in 2003. The steamy tape was leaked in 2007, before being snapped up by pornographic film company Vivid Entertainment, who bought the rights and released the video. Luckily for Kim, she managed to settle with the company for $5 million.
So, some good did come from the sex tape, because not only did it launch Kim’s own career, line her pockets nicely and elevate her to sex kitten status, it also launched the careers of her family, as Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered just six months later. Suspicious?

2. Kourtney Kardashian’s paternity scandal
Kourtney Kardashian went through a paternity headache after In Touch magazine reported that the father of her 3-year-old Mason may not actually be Scott Disick, like everyone had originally suspected.
A male model by the name of Michael Girgenti claimed that he was in fact Mason’s biological father, after he and Kourtney had enjoyed a steamy, unprotected fling together when she was taking a break from Scott in 2009. However, the mom-of-two had enough of Girgenti and his rumors and ensured that he shut his mouth once and for all, after she got a DNA test done in August— proving that Scott is in fact Mason’s dad.
3. Khloé Kardashian’s marriage breaks down over cheating and drug allegations
Poor Khloé! What appeared to have once been a marriage made in heaven, between herself and basketball player Lamar Odom, took a very sour turn last year! Two women came forward, claiming that they had been involved in very sexual relationships with her beau.
Unfortunately for Khloé, her situation went from bad to worse, because Odom was very unstable at the time and racking up hefty bills with his drug dealers. After months of defending her man, and denying cheating allegations, the fashion-enthusiast finally had enough when Odom released a very bizarre rap video, in which he claimed he had been cheating on his wife. Charming!








4. Kim Kardashian pulls a Britney Spears with one of the shortest celeb marriages ever
Celebrities are not really known for their dedication and commitment, and it seems as though living in the public eye can make it hard to maintain a marriage. But Kim Kardashian’s marriage to professional athlete Kris Humphries is perhaps one of the shortest celeb marriages, ever.
Many believe that Kardashian used Humphries for a publicity boost, because every moment of their lavish Aug. 20, 2011 wedding ceremony was captured in a E! special Kim’s Fairytale Wedding, for her all fans to see— generous or money hungry? Regardless, the pairs romance didn’t last long because Kim was quick to file a divorce after just 72 days citing “irreconcilable differences.”

5. Kardashian Photoshop fails
The Kardashians are certainly not the first celebrities to have experienced a Photoshop fail, and we know that they will not be the last. However, Khloé and Kim caused quite a stir when they appeared in their bikinis— looking very toned and several sizes smaller— on the cover of Life & Style magazine.
The pair were boasting that they had some “Get thin fast!” remedies, however, it was very obvious that the photos had been edited to make the sisters appear much slimmer than they actually were. How humiliating!
6. Rob Kardashian gets cheated on by Rita Ora: Twitter war begins
Rob Kardashian tends to avoid the family business, as much as he possibly can, but he has not been without his share of scandals too. However, the biggest one was when he dated superstar Rita Ora, and their breakup did not end on good terms! (Heck, he didn’t even want to be photographed with her!)
Rob took to Twitter to tell the world that the “How We Do” singer had cheated on him “with nearly 20 dudes.” The tweets continued in a series of rude and insulting remarks, before they suddenly and miraculously disappeared.
7. Khloé was not a Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian was not the only one in the family to be rocked by a paternity scare.
In 2012 the youngest of the Kardashian sisters was rumored to not be the late Robert Kardashians child. According to his former wives Jan Ashley and Ellen Kardashian, Khloé was the result of momager Kris Jenners’ affair with longtime hairdresser, Alex Roldan.
Jan Ashley previously stated, “Khloé is not his kid. He told me that after we got married.”
Poor Khloé has always felt like a bit of a black sheep when it comes to her family, but both her mother Kris, and herself, have denied the rumors.
8. Kim Kardashian pressured into doing Playboy… by her mom!
It is no secret that Kris Jenner is just a tad controlling and money-motivated, when it comes to her daughters. The driven momager was eager to take control of Kim’s career from the start, and ensure that she cashed in on every opportunity available to her, including Playboy!
The 33-year-old reality TV star has previously revealed that she truly regrets appearing in Playboy in 2007, but was the reason she did it, because of pressure from her mother?
Kim told Harper’s Bazaar in a candid interview, “‘Go for it’, my mother said, ‘They might never ask you again. Our show isn’t on the air yet. No-one knows who you are. Do it and you’ll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you’re my age.” YIKES!
9. Kardashian clan endorsing sweatshops drama
The Kardashians are a family that are very passionate about the fashion world, and they have made a fair chunk of change off it, but at who’s expensive? In 2011, the Kardashians made headlines for all the wrong reasons, no surprise there, because according to UK Star Magazine, they were profiting from fashion lines that had been manufactured in sweatshops.
The workers of the brands that the Kardashian clan were endorsing and selling from were abused, underpaid, and sometimes as young as 16 years old.
