4,400 lose power as naked woman crashes car into pole
Police, medics and a Seattle City Light crew respond to the scene of the crash.

SHORELINE, Wash. – A 22-year-old woman driving around the Shoreline area while naked crashed her car into a utility pole overnight, knocking out power to more than 4,400 customers, officials said.
A police sergeant patrolling in the area heard the crash and responded to the scene at about 2 a.m. Friday.

The crash knocked out power to 4,443 customers of Seattle City Light. Crews were called to the scene to repair the damage and restore electrical service.
Power was restored to most homes by 3:45 a.m. Everyone is expected to have their electricity back by 8 a.m.
Police said they suspect drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
