A teacher stripped naked and tried to rape a female pupil in front of her classmates during a lunchtime in China.
The suspect, identified only as Hou, is thought to be a laboratory caretaker at Taiping Middle School in Gaungxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in South China.
The 30-year-old, who has a history of mental illness, was caught on surveillance camera pinning the girl against a wall as the other pupils look on. He had rushed into the playground naked before he assaulted the victim.

‘The suspect appears to have been suffering from mental disorders since 2011, but doctors said he would have been fine if the illness had not returned in two years,’ a police spokesman said.

Hou has been detained. The victim will see a psychiatrist after the event. She has not reported any physical pain.
