Notable Celebrity Wardrobe Malfunctions 2016

There were a number of celebrities who had wardrobe malfunctions in 2016, at red carpet premieres, awards shows, fashion shows and even on live TV. We have rounded up some accidental exposures from the last year. Check out the list below.
1) Jennifer Lopez – The singer’s butt was exposed in January while taking a bow at the end of her Las Vegas show, All I Have. As Lopez bent down to thank the crowd at the end of her performance, the seams on her shiny silver pants split open to reveal her bare backside.

2) Britney Spears – The pop star’s left breast nearly popped out of her top during her Las Vegas Piece of Me show in October. Spears was singing a cover version of Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll” when the clasp of her bra-like top fell loose. She tried to fix the mishap while covering her breast with her left hand, but she wasn’t able to fasten the top. A backup dancer then attempted to tie the top back together, but when that also failed, Spears was given one of the male dancers’ flannel shirts to wear.

3) Gigi Hadid – The model suffered a nip slip while walking the runway of the Versace show during Milan Fashion Week in February. As Hadid made her way down the catwalk, her right breast popped out of her dress, but she kept walking without noticing. The model later tweeted, “Wardrobe malfunctions happen on the runway every day of fw & are… unfortunate, lol.”

4) Dakota Johnson – The actress’s top nearly came down while she was accepting the award for Favorite Dramatic Actress at the People’s Choice Awards in January. After walking on stage and hugging Leslie Mann, who handed her the award, one of the straps on Johnson’s top snapped. “Leslie just broke my dress,” the actress joked while trying to hold her top together. She then added, “Well, it’s not like nobody here hasn’t already seen my boobs,” referring to her scantily clad role in 50 Shades of Grey.

5) Sharna Burgess – The ballroom dancer had a nip slip after performing the tango on “Dancing with the Stars” in May. Unbeknownst to Burgess, her nipple was exposed while she stood in front of the judges to get their critique of her routine. Host Tom Bergeron revealed he was told through his earpiece to “look at Sharna’s top,” and he then quickly ran over to block her from the camera and help pull up her outfit.

6) Shay Mitchell – The “Pretty Little Liars” star had a fashion mishap while guest co-hosting “Live with Kelly and Michael” in April. During the live broadcast, one of the straps on the actress’s blouse broke while she and Michael Strahan were interviewing Donnie Wahlberg. Several staffers had to help sew the strap back on during the show’s commercial break, and when she was back on air, Mitchell announced, “No big deal. My strap just could’ve come off on live television. Popped right off!”

7) Ashley Tisdale – The actress found herself in an unfortunate situation while walking the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of Mother’s Day in April. The bright lights of flashing camera bulbs exposed Tisdale’s nipple covers underneath her shirt, which presumably weren’t visible when she looked in the mirror. After fans pointed out online that they could see her pasties in the photos, Tisdale posted a picture of the nipple covers and wrote, “When you’re feelin yourself but your Gel Petals wanna steal the show #dying #notmynipples #freethenipplecover.”
