Teen Arrested After Allegedly Impersonating an FBI Agent to Blackmail Sex Workers
A high school student in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was arrested on Thursday after allegedly posing as an FBI agent in order to blackmail sex workers into giving him free services.
According to KFOR, Anthony Maurice Harris, 18, was caught after he attempted to contact a sex worker online, who — unbeknownst to him — ended up being a vice squad officer from the Tulsa Police Department. During their conversation, the teenager allegedly told the sex worker he was an FBI agent before threatening her with jail time if she didn’t perform various sexual acts on him free of charge.
