Celebrity Skin is the third studio album by American alternative rock band Hole, released worldwide on September 8, 1998 on Geffen Records and one day later in the United States on DGC Records. Hole intended the record to diverge significantly from their previous noise and grunge-influenced sound as featured on Pretty on the Inside (1991) and Live Through This (1994). The band hired producer Michael Beinhorn to record Celebrity Skin over a nine-month period that included the band recording in California, New York and the United Kingdom.
The album was the band’s only studio release to feature bassist Melissa Auf der Maur. Unlike the material on the band’s previous albums, the songs on Celebrity Skin were composed by a number of musicians instead of solely frontwoman Courtney Love and lead guitarist Eric Erlandson.

Palmer has returned fire at an unflattering British tabloid review with a saucy strip-off protest song.
The de facto Dresden Dolls leader produced her unexpected riposte at the Roundhouse, having stayed-on in the U.K. after playing Glastonbury Festival.

A STUNNING Brit pop star went an entire performance in front of a screaming crowd of fans with her nipple on show.

A clip of the wardrobe mishap shows the singer is barely aware of the eye-popping performance she is giving fans.
Her long blonde hair does little to cover her up as she continues to croon for the crowd.
But it doesn’t seem to bother the musician.
Katie Jane Garside – lead singer of British folk duo Ruby Throat – appeared to have no idea the embarrassing wardrobe mishap had even happened.
She casually continues to sing while writhing around on stage, unaware of the flesh flash.
Her see-through white vest top does little to cover Katie as she soldiers on despite the nip slip.
The loose material is so short she risks a double wardrobe malfunction with a knicker flash.
Katie is in good company when it comes to suffering the boob mishap.
