“He’s protecting a lot of other people… He’s not protecting himself, because there’s nothing there,” he said. “I’ve interviewed all the victims. There’s never been an instance where Trump was on a plane with these kids when the rapes occurred.”
“But that can’t be said for Clinton,” he added, suggesting others were present during alleged crimes.
In response, the DOJ issued a statement to O’Keefe, discrediting the man in the video. The agency said the person worked as a program analyst over fifteen years ago and has no inside knowledge.
“This individual worked at the Department of Justice as a program analyst over fifteen years ago,” the DOJ stated. “He has no understanding of, or access to, the underlying facts in this investigation.”
The DOJ also criticized the video’s content and its impact on victims of abuse. “It is disgusting that someone would further exploit victims of sexual abuse by fabricating stories for their personal benefit,” the statement continued.
This is the second time in recent weeks that O’Keefe has released claims tied to the Epstein case. In a previous video, an acting deputy chief at the DOJ was secretly recorded speaking about the Epstein files.
That official reportedly said names of conservatives would be removed from the records, while names of liberals and Democrats would remain. After the video surfaced, the DOJ reached out to the official involved.
The person later clarified, “The comments I made were my own personal comments on what I’ve learned in the media and not from anything I’ve done at or learned via work.”
The Trump administration has faced sharp criticism over its handling of the Epstein files. Some critics say it has not released enough information about past links between Trump and Epstein.
Others say political bias may be influencing how the records are handled or redacted. The DOJ has not confirmed or denied the timeline for further disclosures.
