Husband Ti said he had been suspicious of his wife’s and had decided to drive the 5.5 hours from Bangkok to Sukhothai to catch her in the act.

Officials from the country’s Democrat Party have now suspended the cheating woman while they investigate.

Prapaporn, also known as ‘Madam Ple’, has been a Democrat since March 26 last year, but was inactive in the party’s affairs since the general elections last May.

She has not held any official position within the party.

Phra Maha has now reportedly left the monkhood and gone into hiding.
