Real Trump Animatronic Figure in Disney’s ‘Hall of Presidents’
The Trump robot’s face has been likened to that of actor Jon Voight and rumored to be a repurposed Hillary Clinton robot.
In June 2024, a photograph claiming to depict former former U.S. President Donald Trump’s animatronic figure at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, went viral. The Trump robot has been the subject of numerous jokes and memes since Disney World included him in their “Hall of Presidents” exhibit in 2017.
It is real.

TheĀ photoĀ below shows the animatronic figure, which many haveĀ likenedĀ to actor Jon Voight or claimed was actually aĀ repurposedĀ Hillary Clinton animatronic.

We found footage of the show on theĀ Associated PressĀ websiteĀ as well as onĀ Attractions Magazineāa news publication that covers theme parks and attractions.
The exhibit features robots of all the presidents in U.S. history, a number whichĀ speakĀ in front of a panoramic screen showing key moments of history. Trump’s animatronic voice can be heard saying, “From the beginning America has been a nation defined by its people.”

Attractions MagazineĀ showedĀ a longer version of the animatronic figure’s speech in which it began by saying, “I, Donald John Trump, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

We took a screenshot of the Trump animatronic figure from Attractions Magazine and found it was very similar to the image in the above Reddit post, but was taken at a different moment under different lighting.
The show, which lasts around half an hour, depicts Trump alongside his 43 predecessors. PerĀ The New York Times coverage, and as seen in the above footage, Trump stands next to a seated Abraham Lincoln in the center of the stage.
According to a 2018 report in theĀ Tampa Bay Times, the exhibit changed its voice-over narration for the exhibit. Originally, actor Morgan Freeman used to present all the presidents, but the voice was changed to that of an unnamed woman after Trump’s figure was introduced. Freeman’s publicist told the paper to “Ask Disney” about this change, but Disney did not comment. In 2021, U.S. President Joe Biden’s animatronic figure wasĀ addedĀ to the exhibition.
The media have previously covered rumors surrounding the Trump animatronic figure, including a fake claim that the robot was being removed from the hall. Also reported on the unconfirmedĀ rumorĀ that Disney, expecting Hillary Clinton to prevail in the 2016 election, had built a Clinton robot, only to hastily repurpose it after Trump won.

KATE MICUCCI AND AUBREY PLAZA ARE DIRTY NUNS IN THE LITTLE HOURS
Thereās a lot going on in this 14th century Italian convent: fornication, drunkenness, witchcraft, foul language. Plus, the damned donkey keeps escaping. In the grand tradition of recognizing the faulty humanity under religious cloaks, writer/director Jeff Baena has crafted a farcical film where modern-day words areĀ placed like transformational wafers on the tongues ofĀ Medieval nuns.

Based onĀ Giovanni Boccaccioās āThe Decameronā (specifically the first story of the third day, whereinĀ Masetto da Lamporecchio pretends to be mute so he can work as a gardener and have sex with nuns in a convent),Ā The Little HoursĀ takes place largely in a cloister where no one wants to be. Alessandra (Alison Brie) is only biding time until her dad can find her a husband, Genevra (Kate Micucci) just wants to gossip and narc on everyone, and Fernanda (Aubrey Plaza) is Aubrey Plaza. Rounding out the congregation areĀ John C. ReillyĀ and Molly Shannon as the convent-leading Father Tommasso and Mother Superior.

Life there is dull, and the old adage about idle hands comes into play, especially since the young women holed up in the concrete walls arenāt so much dedicated to the church as they are out of other options. The core of the comedy comes initially from how aggressive and un-nunlike these nuns areāplaying off our expectations while letting Micucci and Plaza be as vulgar as they can be.
The action starts rolling when Massetto (Dave Franco) has to flee Lord Brunoās (Nick Offerman) estate when heās found lying biblically with the masterās wife (Lauren Weedman). He pretends to be a deaf/mute and begins gardening at the convent where almost every nun eagerly takes off her half-a-dozen robes for him. From there, itās a downhill spiral into sacramental wine-chugging buffoonery.

Baena essentially wrote a script for 2017 but filmed it in 1333. Like a cousin toĀ Drunk History, the costumes and castles do the heavy lifting to put us in the era.

Beyond the setting, the set-up, and the mores, you get exactly the modern delivery youād expect from all the actors, except for Micucci, who goes wonderfully crazy, culminating in fireball intensity during a tepidly-shot climax that doesnāt do her performance justice. Brie is sweet and neurotic, Plaza burns whole villages to the ground with her stare, and Franco is lovably goofy. Even Jemima Kirke cameos as a 14th-century version of her character fromĀ Girls.

The film is purposefully low key, allowing for the outbursts of sex, violence and bad habits to leap off the screen. Itās a shock to the system that eventually wears off, but still delights, as the loose plot sends everyone careening into deeper depravity. It isnāt quite Pythonesque chaos, though. More like a MedievalĀ Noises Off!Ā with fewer opportunities for misunderstanding. The pastoral placement and tone (shot through occasionally with f-bombs) is a necessary strength, but ultimately leavesĀ The Little HoursĀ slight.

Still, itās funny and inventive. At 80 minutes long, it knows its limitations, and you could easily see more like this in a series that spans our flat view on morality in all sorts of ages. Vulgar puritans landing on Plymouth Rock, douchebag crusaders, bitching Greek philosophers. Thereās a whole franchise here for Baena and any comedians who want a weekend getaway to an exotic locale.
