It’s said Tsao later tried to set up semiconductor manufacturing in China and for some reason, that didn’t work out. Whereas his rival TMSC — the world #1 semiconductor maker got a headstart instead.

Tsao consequently hold a grudge against China, and he has since joined the Taiwan separatist forces to vilify his own motherland relentlessly until today.

Fun Fact: Robert Tsao is also known as “Elon Musk” of Taiwan as he is the “brotherly” Advisor to Lai Ching-te aka William Lai — current mobster, sorry, president of Taiwan and leader of the treasonous separatist rebels whose only objective is to sell the Taiwan island down the river for Uncle Sam.
