The goodie-of-the-month industry is booming, with subscription services for everything from artisanal cocktails to hair color to cannabis available for home delivery. Now, a new San Francisco–based startup is bringing panties to the monthly party.
Founded by Cal MBA grad Katie Fritts, Underclub aims to put a stop to depressing laundry-day underwear options (you know those elastic-is-shot-in-the-waistband grannies you hang onto just in case) by delivering one fresh, super-cute pair per month direct to your underwear drawer. It’s time to put on your big girl panties.
Membership is simple: First, choose your subscription (month-to-month; pre-pay for six months; or sign up for the whole year), then take Underclub’s style questionnaire—once you set your size and preferences (are you more cotton brief or leopard thong? do you need undies for the workday or date night?), Underclub’s team of panty pros will curate your monthly selection. The only finger you’ll lift will be the one tossing out those Bridget Jones breeches.
The price is right—starting around $20 a month for designers you already know (think Hanky Panky, Cosabella, Natori, and more). Do yourself a solid and give it go. Because no dignified woman should ever have to dig through Victoria’s Secret’s “5 for $27” bins.
