After going viral in 2015 for posting a show-all clip of himself measuring and weighing his abnormally large member, the world was left slack-jawed by Roberto Esquivel Cabrera’s 19-inch penis. The images spread widely via social media showing his 900-gram appendage clearly visible in his trouser leg.

However, initially believing his unusually long penis had been a blessing, it soon became a curse that caused his life to descend into embarrassment and heartbreak.

Despite his very public show of confidence, not everyone has been easily convinced.

The man has faced a storm of accusations from baffled online users and medics alike who claim he must have stretched his foreskin an extra 12-inches with heavy weights in order to elongate his penis.

And jumping from one drama to the next, Cabrera was then convicted on a string of indecency charges which he unsuccessfully appealed.

Here, we look into the life of the well-endowed man who has been at the centre of a baffling penis-size debate for almost a decade.

Roberto Esquivel Cabrera, 56, from Saltillo, Mexico, claimed he had been struggling with his large penis since he was a teenager.

Known locally as El Centauro – The Centaur – he roams around the streets of Mexico with his 19-inch manhood tucked into his pant leg.

He hit the headlines in 2015 after a video of him measuring his manhood went viral.

In the footage, posted first by TMZ, Cabrera shows off the gigantic proportions of his penis, which is wrapped in a thick beige material.

Slapping it down onto a scale while holding his member with two hands, the man grins as the scales flicked close to 900g.

Then, in a moment that left viewers with eyebrows raised, he sat back in a chair in his cluttered room and tapped the end of his bandaged penis against his face.

He sat for a few seconds with his appendage resting against his forehead before the bizarre video came to an abrupt end.

The video quickly made its rounds on social media and Cabrera started gaining attention from porn sites and stunned members of the public.

But with all of the recognition, came swathes of doubt.

In what Cabrera thought was an impressive achievement, others began questioning whether his penis was really the astonishing 19-inches he claimed it to be.

After his story began appearing on news sites around the world, several medics became involved in the conversation around the man with the monstrous member.

Back in 2018, radiologist Dr Jesus Pablo Gil Muro, who examined Cabrera claimed that the man refused to remove all of the bandages around his penis and would not let the doctors fully examine the skin.

The medic recalled: ‘When he came here to do a CT scan, my first impression was that it was a unique and unusual case. I had never seen a patient like Roberto.

‘What the CT scan showed was that there is a very large foreskin. It goes just before the knee.

‘But the penis itself is about 16 to 18cm from the pubis’, with the rest making up foreskin and inflamed skin.

Muro also said Cabrera was ‘obsessed’ with his penis length as it was claimed the man had been stretching his foreskin with weights since he was a teenager – something Cabrera has neither confirmed nor denied.

Because he stretched his penis and doctors like Muro say that his penis is actually only six inches long, the Guinness Book of Records refuses to recognise his ‘achievement’.

Due to the sheer size of his penis, Cabrera keeps it wrapped in bandages to escape chaffing and falls victim to regular UTIs because not all of his urine is able to escape his lengthy foreskin.

In a bid to ease the pain he experiences as a result of his massive member, Cabrera often straps it to his leg, and as he is also unable to sleep on his stomach, he lays it on a pillow beside him during the night.

Doctors have repeatedly urged him to undergo reduction surgery to remove several inches, but Cabrera has flatly refused each time – despite an active sex life being off limits as his penis has too much girth to have intercourse.

He previously said: ‘Some people ask me if I put some condoms on it and the answer is: I cannot. I can never penetrate anyone because it is too thick’.

But this didn’t stop him from having dreams of moving to the United States of America and becoming a porn star in 2015 while he was living in poverty.

He has previously been offered work in the adult entertainment industry by the man behind YouPorn and the FakeTaxi series.

He suggested Cabrera could come to their studio in Prague to film a medical scene, though he crushingly said it would be more comical than erotic.

‘I tell them that I’m willing to have them take pictures of me, record me from television and all that, but nobody pays attention to me, they pretend they don’t see what they see, what they have in front of them,’ he told Vanguardia in 2015.

‘I want to make a movie. Not that they pay me a contract, but rather that I buy all the equipment, make it myself in several languages and distribute it in many countries.

‘Imagine, in China alone there are more than one billion people! With that money I can even get a girlfriend, but if not, I can have a child with artificial insemination. Someone who really loves me’, explained The Centaur.

Cabrera does not believe this to be the case, however, claiming he has the largest penis in the world, surpassing Jonah Falcon who is the current Guinness World Record holder with his manhood measuring 9.5inches flaccid, and 13.5inches erect.

Due to the sheer size of his penis and consequent inability to have sex, the likelihood of Cabrera ever having children diminishes by the day.

Cabrera has refused to have a reduction even though he can not have sexual intercourse and claims he has never had a girlfriend or kissed a woman

‘He’d rather have a penis bigger than the rest of the people,’ said Mexico-based specialist Dr Jesus David Salazar Gonzalez.

‘We have already told him: “Mr Roberto, the best thing to do is to have his penis given a normal shape so that it doesn’t hurt, have sex, procreate”, but he doesn’t accept it.

‘In Latin culture whoever has the bigger penis is more macho. It’s something that makes him different to the rest of the people and makes him feels special.’

While previously living in the US for a short stint, Cabrera attempted to have sex twice, but the first woman backed out as soon as she saw his penis, and the other one had to stop because it was too painful.

‘I’ve never had a girlfriend, or a partner or anything like that, I’ve never even been kissed once. I like women, but I never had one, not even when I was a kid, much less now with this’, he previously told La Republica.

Aside from the failed romances, there is a darker side to Cabrera’s past.

While he was living in the US, the wannabe-pornstar was convicted on a string of indecency charges.

They include a felony assault charge for exposing himself to two underage girls, a conviction he appealed unsuccessfully.

He was forced to leave the US in 2001 but had his sights set on returning so he could pursue his adult film star career.

An adult entertainment company offered to pay for a reduction, but he refused and said his goal is to to meet the right woman.

He said: ‘I am happy with my penis and I wish to go back to the US and spend the rest of my life over there.

‘I don’t feel sad because I know in the US there is a lot of women. One of them will be the right size for me.

‘I would like to be a porn star and I think I would make a lot of money over there.

‘And the people are not like over here, they are more liberal: they don’t care about what I have in my pants.
