Daveigh Chase: WILD IN BLUE [1],[2] Official Trailer (2015)
for Cameron McCool |
While filming his sadistic relationship with women, a killer’s infatuation with a potential victim forces him to confront his past.
“Wild in Blue” is a dramatic, fast paced thriller written and directed by Matthew Berkowitz and was acquired by REEL SUSPECTS this year. It’s a disturbing, yet compelling journey of a sexual sadist named Charlie, who makes a habit of killing the innocent and young women of his random one night stands. Using a camera he tells us a story of murder, sex and madness as we watch his ‘movie in the making’.
Charlie’s nihilistic ways begin to soften when he meets Ashley, a beautiful hairdresser who he stalks and secretly videotapes around Los Angeles. The only difference between her and all his other prey is that he starts to feel for her. Regardless of his demonic tendencies, his humanity is revealed in his subconscious desperation to love and be loved. This shift opens up feelings of sympathy for Charlie, an otherwise despicable character.
The biggest turn of “Wild in Blue” is its unexpected ending, which cannot be spoiled and must be watched. The final twist makes this dark exploration satisfying and sheds some rays of hope for Charlie.
The film’s style, screen direction, cinematography and editing create a roller coaster ride through the mind of a deranged killer. Take “Irreversible”, “Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer” and “American Psycho” put them in a blender on high speed and out comes “Wild in Blue”; a must see new indie film.
We Don’t Want Your Ass On the Strip
The star of “Lilo & Stitch” is too hot for the Sunset Strip … because her ass has just been rejected.
Daveigh Chase — who was the voice of Lilo — is the star of the upcoming movie, “Wild in Blue.” We’re told the flick is real sexy, and that’s why it’s being marketed with Daveigh’s ass as its moniker.
Regency Outdoor Advertising owns one of the best billboards on the Strip … right at Sunset and Doheny, a stone’s throw from 1OAK, Bootsy Bellows and Boa.
The folks at “Wild in Blue” offered the market price of $45K for the month of January to plaster her ass, but Regency balked because the image was just too risque.
We’re told Regency suggested producers Photoshop “boy shorts” over the thong to make it more palatable. Ain’t gonna happen.
The movie’s marketers are looking for another billboard on the Strip, but so far no bites … bites.
