American Idol’s top-earning alum raked in cash from a long concert tour, making more than Adam Lambert and Kelly Clarkson combined.

The country singer raked in approximately $31 million between June 2012 through June 2013, playing 100 shows on tour and signing endorsement deals with the likes of Olay. Over the past five years, Forbes estimates that she has earned $83 million.
Carrie Underwood earned an estimated $ 20 million between May 2010 and May 2011, according to a ranking published by Forbes on Thursday (July 21).
The pretax sum makes Underwood the top earner among the show’s former contestants. She won the competition in 2005. Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry tied for second place on the Forbes earnings list with $ 6 million each. Country-related Idol artists on the list include Kelly Clarkson in sixth place with $ 2.5 million and Kellie Pickler in eighth place with $ 1.8 million.
The report indicated that Idol host Ryan Seacrest made $ 61 million, a higher sum than the 10 Idol stars’ incomes combined.
