The new UK trailer, released today, promises a fast-paced and inevitably disastrous race to keep Jay and Annie’s dodgy video for their eyes only.

Expect screams of panic and embarrassment at regular intervals, break-ins involving vicious dogs, desperate vodka shots, seriously dubious Y-fronts and a best friend who tells Jay that, had she been Annie, she would have “killed him in his sleep”.
“Mum, there are some things you should die just never knowing,” Annie tells her concerned mother.
The official synopsis reads: “When Jay and Annie first got together, their romantic connection was intense – but ten years and two kids later, the flame of their love needs a spark.”
In an effort to relight the fire, the couple decide to make a raunchy video of themselves trying out every single position in The Joy of Sex in one three-hour session. But their fun, if slightly ridiculous, idea backfires when their cringeworthy shoot is made public.
Sex Tape marks the second time that Diaz and Segel have teamed-up for an on-screen romance after 2011’s Bad Teacher. It is due to hit UK cinemas on 5 September.

Cameron Diaz was born in San Diego, California. Her mother, Billie Joann (née Early), is an import-export agent, and her father, Emilio Luis Diaz (1949–2008), worked for the California oil company UNOCAL for more than 20 years as a field gauger. Diaz has an older sister, Chimene. Her father’s family were Cuban (of Spanish descent), and settled in Tampa’s Ybor City, later moving to California, where Emilio was born. Her mother has English, German, and Scots-Irish ancestry. Diaz was raised in Long Beach, California, and attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School.

She began dating actor & member of Thirty Seconds to Mars Jared Leto in 1999, and the couple became engaged in 2000. In 2003, they ended their four-year relationship. Diaz dated singer Justin Timberlake from 2003 to 2006. In October 2004, Diaz and Timberlake were in an altercation with a tabloid photographer outside a hotel. When the photographer and another man tried to photograph them, the couple snatched the camera. Pictures of the incident appeared in Us Weekly. Yesterday the town council accepted the councilor and primary school teacher’s resignation. Town Mayor Pedro Acevedo, of the opposing Popular Party, confirmed to El Mundo that Hormigos has resigned due to a ‘thorny issue’.
