Man with diarrhea rammed truck into convenient store because he badly needed roll of toilet paper

An Arizona resident intentionally rammed his pickup truck into a Tucson storefront last week during a burglary, police said.

Mark Hammel, 19, was captured on surveillance cameras minutes before the break-in where he can be seen relieving himself behind the building.
The suspect who can be clearly seen wiping himself with his bare hands later tried to break in through the back door entrance of the store with his pants still down but was unable to do so.

“The suspect used his Ford F-150 to break the market’s glass door to steal several rolls of toilet paper after defecating behind the building” Tucson Police Department Deputy Sheriff, James Flaherty, told reporters.

Mark Hammel, 19, who was suffering from a bad case of diarrhea at the time used his Ford F-150 to ram into the storefront and steal several rolls of toilet paper reported Deputy Sheriff James Flaherty of the Tucson Police Department.

“The suspect was arrested several minutes later and did not offer any resistance after officers noticed the interior of his car, his face, hands, and pants were covered in fecal matter,” Deputy Sheriff Flaherty added.

Tucson police say Hammel did not steal anything else although the cash register had several hundreds of dollars in it at the time of the burglary.
“The suspect went straight in for the roll of toilet paper before fleeing the scene,” Tucson police said.

No one was harmed during the incident although the break-in will cost an estimated $50 000 dollars in damages to the store and the owner claims the putrid odor could stay for weeks to come.

A similar incident occurred in 2016 after a Texas man who was denied access to a convenient store washroom used several hand grenades and a rocket launcher to access the washroom, killing 12.
