Brie Larson: Chris Noth returns to Acting after Sexual Assault Scandal & ‘SATC’ Firing

Chris Noth is slowly making his way out of the shadows.

The disgraced actor, famously known for his role as Mr. Big on “Sex and the City,” recently made his return to stage following several sexual assault allegations.

In a new report from Page Six, Noth produced, directed and starred in a one-night reading of Eugene Ionesco’s “Rhinoceros” at Saint James Place in Great Barrington, Mass.

The outlet reports he was a “consummate stage actor.”

A consummate actor is defined as “very good or skillful.”

Noth Received A Standing Ovation For His Performance

The source revealed Noth’s performance was “well-received. He received a standing ovation at the end.”

Per the outlet, the former ‘SATC’ actor scouted local talent for the production and worked with producer Elizabeth Aspenlieder.

This was the “Law & Order” star’s first performance since his ‘SATC’ character was killed off of the reboot, “And Just Like That.”

The Blast previously reported on the sexual assault claims brought against Noth.

Last December, The Hollywood Reporter released a bombshell interview with two of his victims.

The alleged incidents happened ten-years apart and on opposite sides of the country.

One incident reportedly happened at a West Hollywood building in Los Angeles, CA. in 2004.

The other alleged assault happened at his Greenwich Village apartment in New York City in 2015.

Both women approached THR this year at different times, and claim to not know one another.

They went by the pseudonyms “Lily” and “Zoe.”

Noth Was Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Two Women

They said “promotions and press reports of HBO Max’s “Sex and the City” sequel series “And Just Like That,” in which Noth reprises his role as Mr. Big, stirred painful memories of incidents.”

‘AJLT’ premiered on December 9, 2021.

Their stories have drastic differences, but there is one chilling similarity in both stories.

Both women claim Noth forced himself on them from behind, and sexually assaulted them in front of a mirror.

Zoe alleged that he kissed her without asking, pulled her toward him and moved her toward the bed. Noth reportedly pulled off her shorts and bikini bottom, and began to rape her from behind while facing a mirror.

Lily recalled Noth pulling down his pants and forcing his genitals into her mouth.

“He was having sex with me from the back in a chair. We were in front of a mirror. I was kind of crying as it happened,” she revealed.

The ‘SATC’ actor issued a statement on Thursday, December 16, 2021.

Chris Noth Denied All Of The Allegations!

In a statement to THR, Noth said, “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – no always means no – that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

Since the bombshell allegations came to light, Noth was fired from Peloton, “The Equalizer” and the reboot of ‘SATC.’
