Oklahoma judges on Sunday chose a strong contender for the 2015 Miss USA title. Olivia Jordan was crowned Miss Oklahoma USA 2015 following two days of competition in the Showplace Theater at Riverwind Hotel & Casino in Norman. Jordan, Jordan, 26, reigned as Miss World United States 2013, and finished in the top 20 at the Miss World Pageant, and was first runner-up for Top Model and the global competition. She is also a former first runner-up in the Miss California USA Pageant, who has appeared in several movies.

The winner of the Miss USA Pageant will represent the United States at the Miss Universe competition. Both the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants are owned by Donald Trump and NBC Universal. The pageants are broadcast live on the NBC television network.

Jordan is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is a graduate of Kelley High School. She majored in health science at Boston University. She then moved to California to pursue a career in acting and modeling. According to IMDB.com, her movie credits include Ted, Here Comes the Boom, Jobs, 10.0 Earthquake, and the upcoming Hot Tub Time Machine 2. Her television credits include appearances on Starving in Suburbia, Un-Real, and Murder in the First.

If Jordan is crowned Miss USA, she will become the first Oklahoma pageant contestant to win the national title. Miss Oklahoma USA 2014 Brooklynne Young of Norman, Oklahoma finished in the top 20 at last year’s Miss USA Pageant. Two Oklahoma contestants have been named first runner-up at the national pageant. They are Miss Oklahoma USA 2010 Morgan Woolard and Miss Oklahoma USA 1989 Jill Scheffert.

Olivia Jordan has just been appointed as Miss World United States 2013 by the Elite Models company, the license holder of Miss World Organization in the United States. The beauty from Tulsa, Oklahoma is 22 years old and stands at 1.80 m. She will represent the United States in the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for September 28 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
