South Korean dancer and model Bomi recently made global headlines after becoming the first ever K-pop idol to join OnlyFans.

But despite her success on the raunchy website, the 25-year-old has now found herself banned on Instagram, where she had almost 380,000 followers.

The Girl Crush singer opened a new account on Tuesday and demanded that Instagram reinstate her old one.

‘I posted my picture and didn’t break the rules,’ she wrote in both English and Korean.

‘It’s an account that communicates with fans! Please restore my account.’

She then shared instructions for how her fans could help her get her old account back by reporting it to Instagram.

Bomi recently announced that she’d joined OnlyFans, making her the first ever K-pop idol to do so.

‘I’ve opened my OnlyFans,’ she announced on Twitter last week. ‘You can subscribe for $15. A sexy photo and fancam will be uploaded!’

The performer already sells raunchy photos through other paid websites and apps that are popular in Korea, but this is her first time on OnlyFans.

Pornography is still largely illegal in South Korea, but there are a few loopholes on social media that allow some illicit content through.

The distribution of pornography is a felony; however, there are no laws that punish individuals for watching, downloading or storing porn.

Porn is also blocked by the government on almost all websites and search engines, making it difficult to access in the first place.

While Bomi has made history as the first Korean pop star to join OnlyFans, she’s not a traditional mainstream idol.

Her four-member girl group, Girl Crush, is a dance troupe that regularly performs at music festivals and other events across Korea.

After becoming popular online thanks to their raunchy performances, they entered the music industry in 2019 with their first single, Memories.

The song failed to crack the charts, but many of Girl Crush’s performances and dance covers continue to go viral on YouTube, racking up millions of views.
