Alicja Bachleda (Very Brief Breasts) & Yvonne Strahovski in Edge (Pilot-2015)

Unexceptional Western anchored by a solid but uncharismatic lead. Expected something different and off-kilter with Shane Black in charge. The trademark black humor and snappy lines were missing. Performances were between pat and campy with Yvonne‘s attempt at Missouri drawl only highlighted the fact she’s from Australia. Undoubtedly hot, Alicja didn’t fare much better in acting department either. Superb sound editing and effects accompanying the bloody action will delight the gore lovers.Kinda figured out why the critics were harsh on the show beyond the official reviews. You don’t have to be a PETA member to be slightly put off by how our four-legged friends were treated in Edge.
