Who’s Sweating the Sexbots?
Sex will be more popular with ROBOTS than with humans by 2050, claims shocking report.
Robots already build our cars, clean our houses and make our food â but soon they will be jumping into BED with many of us.
âBrothels and strip clubs will soon include robots and they will be a specific fetish for some people, as well as a potentially cheaper replacement for real-life interaction.â
Futurologist Dr Ian Pearson has now predicted that the specialised robots will start to appear in ordinary homes in the next decade, as randy humans look for hassle-free love.
Is it possible for a human being to fall in love with a machine?
According to a shocking new report, human beings will choose sex with robots over real partners in in next 10 years.
Deborah Ann WollÂ
The report, entitled the Future of Sex, claims that “robophilia” will become more and more popular as technology advances .
Written by Dr. Ian Pearson, a leading futurologist, and commissioned by Bondara, the report claims:
“A lot of people will still have reservations about sex with robots at first but gradually as they get used to them, as the AI (artificial intelligence) and mechanical behaviour and their feel improves, and they start to become friends with strong emotional bonds, that squeamishness will gradually evaporate.”
The report marks 2050 as the year that human/robot sex overtakes human/human.
It also states that in just 15 years most people will have: “some form of virtual sex as casually as they browse porn today”.
According to Dr. Pearson, the advances in sex tech will provide opportunities for those that otherwise wouldn’t have it.
“VR (virtual reality) will allow people to have sex who might otherwise have few opportunities: people who are too old or restricted in what they can do in reality,” he writes.
Sex with robots will become reality by 2050, author claims
Thatâs the scenario envisaged by David Levy, author of Love and Sex and Robots, who predicts it wonât be long before weâre all doing it â with machines.
WTF: Sex With Robots Will Outnumber Sex With Humans By 2050
âIt just takes one famous person to say I had fantastic sex with a robot and youâll have people queuing up from New York to California,â the CEO of Intelligent Toys Limited told us.

My date is a sex machine
âIf youâve got a robot that looks like a human, feels like a human, behaves like a human, talks like a human why shouldnât people find it appealing?â
Some companies are already experimenting with building intelligent, advanced robot sex dolls.
Matt McMullen, the CEO of “love doll” manufacturer RealDoll, is busy making a new toy (the first one is called Harmony) that will blink, open its mouth and even have a chat with you.
The ultimate aim is to create a doll that appears to behave as if ‘she’ enjoys the act of sex.
“We might very well be launching a new company devoted solely to the development of integrating AI with realistic sex toys, as well as potential VR applications,” McMullen said in a Reddit ask-me-anything a couple of months ago.

Meanwhile, another robotics expert has launched a campaign to ban the development of sex robots in the UK.
Dr. Kathleen Richardson, a senior research fellow at De Montfort University in Leicester, has called the development of sex ‘bots a “disturbing” trend that needs to be stopped.
“Sex robots seem to be a growing focus in the robotics industry and the models that they draw on – how they will look, what roles they would play – are very disturbing indeed,” she said.
“We think that the creation of such robots will contribute to detrimental relationships between men and women, adults and children, men and men and women and women.”
Malaysia’s livid tourism logo used for âsex with robotsâ event
Authority says although Tourism Malaysiaâs logo can be used freely, it should never have been used for such event as the international conference on âLove and Sex with Robotsâ to be held Malaysia that upset the sensitivities of Malaysians.
âBy using our logo, the organiser is implying Tourism Malaysia endorses the event. The organisers will be told to remove the logo immediately,â Nazri is the Tourism Minister told us.
The event will be chaired by Prof Adrian Cheok of City University London and Dr David Levy, the chief officer of Intelligent Toys Limited.
Levy said if there was a sophisticated sex robot around now, then he would be very curious to try it.
Meanwhile real life technological advances like David Hansonâs human robots or Hiroshi Ishiguroâs version have been making robots look more life like by the year. Several versions of robotic sex dolls already exist, including RealDoll made by the Californian company Abyss.
