Lora Meins talks about her “completely nude” scene
Note: There are about 10 parts of so of her interview
I had a look at the remaining interviews on DailyMotion with Lora Meins. Interesting…they mostly concern nudity.
Pt. 1 Lora admits that Bloodwine was her first ever movie out of college.
Pt 2 she is nervous about the screening because of her nude scene; her “completely nude” scene. She also said the project was shot while she was still at college, and use the dorms.
Pt 7 she did the nude scene because she trusted the director/producer etc.
Pt 8 Lora said producers/directors would have likely allowed her to go non-nude, yet she didn’t want to change it because she believed it the project. Also said no one forced her.
Pt 9 Another actress Vanessa Leinani would do implied nudity otherwise she would want a body double, although Meins from the background says “I’ve seen her naked.” Her rational for non-nudity she wants to keep a level of mystery for guys at home.
Pt 10 nothing much.
Interesting that Vanessa Leinani (nudity dodger) has had a more successful career in acting than has Meins. Other than Bloodwine, Meins was an extra and horse wrangler on Oklahoma produce short to be released in 2015 called No Rest For The Wicked. Meins full-time employment is in insurance. Also confirmed on her Twitter.
Lora is still FB friends with the production staff. No reference to Leinani. It’s like poof, she was gone. Wonder if family/friends/local reaction was negative? Wonder if Vanessa Leinani‘s comments stung?
Found these little tid-bit:
Lora Meins is best known for her stage performance as Agnes in Bug at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She has also appeared as Myra in their production of Deathtrap. In February of 2007, Lora received a nomination in the distinguished Irene Ryan acting competition in Houston. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting and Directing from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Currently she is training a stable of horses for trick riding and various stunt performance techniques.
Bug had “full frontal nudity” and was rated “NC-17” according the “The Southeastern” http://www.se.edu/library/files/2010/12/the-southeastern-10-12-2007.pdf
So Lorna‘s no stranger to nudity.
