Kate Winslet Iconic Scene “Titanic”
Kate Winslet Still Haunted By Nude ‘Titanic’ Portrait
Having seen this plot, yeah, we do believe ya.
Kate Winslet – Titanic
That nudey Titanic scene may be one of the most famous moments in the film’s history – but Kate Winslet is NOT a fan.
Speaking about the moment where Jack sketches Rose naked, while she wears a Heart of the Ocean necklace, Kate Winslet told Yahoo that 17 years on, photographs of that moment still haunt the actress.
Kate Winslet: “The Titanic nude scene still haunts me!”
“I don’t sign that (picture),” she said. “It feels very uncomfortable. Why would you do that? People ask me to sign that a lot.”

“There’s a photo of it as well that someone has lifted from a still of the film, and that photo gets passed around too. I’m like ‘No! I didn’t mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing still 17 years later.'”
Kate Winslet’s plump butt!
Indeed they do – just a few weeks ago at the Divergent premiere, Kate was offered a recreation of that very sketch to sign, which must have annoyed her a little bit:
“It’s still haunting me,” she added. But luckily, Kate’s got a sense of humour, saying all the fuss is “quite funny really.”
Guess even Kate didn’t expect for that moment to become so immortalised in pop culture – so the lesson learned here is this: never get butt-naked in one of the biggest films of all time.
Guys can we stop getting Kate Winslet to sign weird nude drawings of her, please?
Hi everyone just a quick public service announcement it would be ‘way cool’ if we could all just stop asking Kate Winslet to sign weird, hand-drawn pictures of her reclining in the nude like she did in 1997’s Titanic, yeah? Like: we all like to spend our time staring wistfully out of the window while complexly shading a pencil-on-paper imagining of what Kate Winslet’s nude wubs looked like 17 years ago. We all like to do this. But Kate Winslet does not, especially, and she’s had about enough of people asking her to sign weird naked pictures of her. So: could you just not.

She added: “There’s a photo of it as well that someone has lifted from a still of the film, and that photo gets passed around too. I’m like ‘No! I didn’t mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing still 17 years later.”
And Kate said that, like a spooky ghost sneaking up behind her whispering ‘Draw me like one of your French girls’ into the wind, the iconic Titanic scene is still haunting her today.
“It’s still haunting me,” she said. “It’s quite funny really.”
Anyway heat will be holding a ceremonial bonfire of all the weird drawings of Kate Winslet naked that Kate Winslet refuses to sign at 8pm this evening. Please bring along all Post-It note doodles, A3 sketchbooks or even iPads on which you might have drawn a picture of Kate Winslet naked, and we’ll destroy them humanely.
