Many films over the years have chosen to utilize nudity in a variety of different ways and for a variety of different purposes. In some, it’s used to define or develop or a character. In others, the nudity is pure shock value, often for purposes of comedy, although some films use it for shock value to add drama instead. In some cases, it’s used simply as a tool to add to the setting.
