“Gold,” the Grammy winner captioned two pictures on Saturday. The first showed just her mouth and décolletage as she showed off what looked like a gold-and-diamond grill and a collection of gold necklaces.
The second picture showed her lying naked exposing most all of her backside and the lower part of her breasts.
Her fans loved the photo, with one commenting, “You are the Golden Queen!” while another wrote, “Seriously you’re stunning! I’m 22 and your body is better than mine I’m in love.”
It’s certainly not the first time the Sex author has stripped down for the camera, and it likely won’t be the last.
In 2015, she launched an attack against Instagram over the constraints of showing nudity after it removed a nude photo of her. “Why is it ok to show a*s but not breasts? Drowning in the hypocrisy of social media,” she wrote in the caption of yet another scandalous photo, while adding the hashtags #artforfreedom and #rebelheart.
As was mentioned, this is a fight that Madonna has participated in for many years. Her 1990 book Sex caused massive controversy upon release, as it featured photos of the singer performing a series of sexual acts with celebrities like Naomi Campbell, Isabella Rossellini, Udo Kier, Vanilla Ice and Big Daddy Kane.
The book received extremely negative reviews, to which Madonna responded by saying: “I don’t think sex is bad. I don’t think nudity is bad. I don’t think that being in touch with your sexuality and being able to talk about it is bad. I think the problem is that everybody’s so uptight about it and have turned it into something bad when it isn’t. If people could talk about it freely, we would have more people practicing safe sex, we wouldn’t have people sexually abusing each other.”
